I’m excited for Church in the Park on Sunday, and I hope you are, too! Last year the weather was chilly but the reception was warm. This year, the weather should be warmer; after all it is August in St. Louis! Wear your FDP t-shirt! If you haven’t yet RSVP’d it’s not too late. Email me at pastor@faithdesperes.org. Church starts at 10, BBQ after church. The playground and parking is nearby. If you’re a student, bring your backpack. We’ll bless them on Sunday.
Finally, read through this email so you know what’s happening around church. With everyone hither and yon this summer it can be hard to keep up with stuff! But school is back, which means we’re settling back into a routine.
