Dear Faith Des Peres Church Family,
Construction continues with the phased removal, grading and paving of our new parking lot! The entire project with the possible exception of some new landscape plantings in the front of the church is to be finished by Halloween. Thank you for your patience as we become a construction zone for these next two months!
Our PALS program is taking a break for now, so it will not meet this Sunday.
Our guest preacher this Sunday will be new UKirk St. Louis pastor the Rev. Max Hill. I hope you will particularly make the most of this opportunity to meet Max and hear about his plans for the UKirk ministry.
As my on “study leave” September 9-22 to move into our new home continues, our guest preacher September 22 will be the Rev. Carol DeVaughan.
In anticipation of receiving Presbytery approval for our Mission and Ministry Study Report and permission to form a Pastor Nominating Committee the Session has called a Congregation meeting following worship Sunday, September 29 to elect a Pastor Nominating Committee. This is the next step in our transitional journey in preparation for searching for your next called and installed pastor.
